Providing:
Companionship, access to community services, shopping, support to access breaks in the community.
Personal Care – Support with applying lotions and creams as required, dressing and getting ready for bed, Oral hygiene, applying make-up, hair care, shaving, foot care, especially if you are diabetic need to be extra vigilant with your feet,help accessing the toilet, including using a commode or bed pan.
Continence care, including changing pads along with cleaning intimate areas and help with toileting or stoma/catheter care.
More domicialiary care services:
- Support moving position in bed, to stretch and prevent bed sores Monitoring skin integrity and support accordingly.
- Household support including laundry, vacuuming and cleaning.
- Preparing and cooking meals to client’s tastes and help with feeding for those who require such support.
- Personal care, including support with bathing including bed-baths, dressing and washing or drying hair.
- Medication support, whether it is administering or providing prompts.
- Supporting mobility, whether it is using hoists or assistance around the home.
- Running errands such as collecting food shopping or prescriptions.
- Companionship and enabling to enjoy hobbies and interests.
- Physical Disabilities.
